Everytime I open Internet Explorer, a menu (Toolbar, sort of) appears at the bottom of my screen. Even though there is an X in the corner, it wont let me close it. It always stays on top and does not alow me to see my normal task bar that shows my Start button, open windows, date time etc.
The only way I have been able to close it is to go into my Task manager, find the process (it steals names like "iexplore", "Bytedelete") and end the process.
It's annoying as hell.
Know how I can get rid of it?

Sounds like "spyware". Run "Spybot" S&D and or Adaware and see what they find.
