You know what would be cool? To set up a foundation that works with colleges and churches to provide emergency aid to struggling people in real need. I'm talking about the college student who is blindsided by disaster - like the loss of a parent. Or the family who is underinsured and has a sick child - or loses everything in a fire or catastrophe. Not the cases that make the news but the unknown people in need.

Even without having "lotto" money, I try to do what I can. If I see someone who is short at the grocery store and I can help, I do. It would be nice to be able to do it on a larger scale.

I would make sure with an attorney that everything was kept under wraps until a plan was set up to take care of the matter. Then I would make sure a contract was made up to give certain percentages for the church, family and friends and myself are equitably distributed as to merit. I would also give a percentage to charity and the rest i would invest wisely and spend a little so others may enjoy the fruits of my victory. I would also rearrange my will to make sure if anything would happento me before the lotto ran out in annuity payments I would make sure that all legitimate parties were taken care of and I was given a decent burial with may be a little small fringes.

Well, I wouldn't exactly "quit" my job, instead, I would buy the company and fire my boss and the evil human resources witch. On top of that, I would invest for retirement, college for my kids and nieces and nephews, retirement for parents, donate a large sum to a heart disease related charity, then treat the whole extended family to an around the world cruise....But the best part would be firing the jack*ss boss.

I'll tell you what I WOULDN'T do: Buy a Bentley, get a 26-room mansion, and buy all sorts of expensive jewelry.

I'd buy a Pontiac G6, a Saab Convertible, pay for my daughter's education, take care of friends and family, get a 5 bedroom house in the 'burbs, and that would be it. Maybe open up a Sonic and a Sizzler, too.

Sorry strippers, none of my winnings for you.

First...I would pay tithe on it (10% right off the top), then I would help out my kids and sisters, take them all out for seafood night at Reid's (my kids & grandkids), see the needs of people less fortunate than I and help them out, then buy a new house, and a more energy effient car. I'd also donate to charities, of course. And I'd help my friend Brenda with some money.

Hey Niff,
I would give a good portion to charity,
set up trust funds for my 2 daughters,
invest the rest.
And retire at 50 ! Travel the world !
Hugs,

I'd pay everything off, and finish updating the house, put in the pool, take a few vacations. I wouldn't tell anybody either, they'd go out of their minds thinking i'm just sinking myself into debt, it'd be hoooooooooolarious :)

I would pay off everything I owe, and of course quit my job. Then I would help family and some friends. Next I would travel as much as I want.

Give half of it to my dad because he has supported me the most when I needed help financially. He has always made sure I had a reliable vehicle, food, gas, and anything my son has ever needed.
