My g/f thinks i am wierd because i have a quick shower after taking a bath! my reasoning for doing this is because you are actually sitting in dirty water in the bath. You are cleaning yourself and then sitting in the dirt you just washed off! Who else does this? Please tell me i am not alone!

noo you're definitely not alone..and i dont think its wierd...i always do that. i see ppl getting out of the bath without showering and so i tried..and i felt icky!! cos all the soap and all your dirt and everything from your body in the dirty water in the tub! ughh!! after i drain out all the water from my tub i have a quick shower. bath is a good relaxing thing for me, but a quick shower after that is must!!

If I wanna take a bath I usually take a shower first so I won't have to sit in my own dirt because I'll be clean from the shower. But I usually take to long of a shower and all the hot water runs out for my bath and I'm too dizzy from the heat to go from shower to bath.

I don't own a shower so no I just have a bath people who take showers just end up covered in mould and mildew because they never think to clean it i.e the inside of where the water comes out whereas a bath tub is very visable when dirty so you know when to clean it.
A complete waste of water to bath and shower haveing a bath isn't going to make the shower more effective jsut have the shower its quicker and uses less water no waiting for a tub to fill you just walk in and turn the tap

Of course youre not alone, youre very normal and it's exactly correct what you said. Although youre having a bath and supposedly cleaning yourself youre actually sitting in your dirt. A bath is more for relaxing but a shower is what really cleans you. Maybe when your g/f is next in the bath show her she is sitting in her dirt!

I dont have a shower i just have a bath because if your from england then you may know what a council house is and i happen to live in one so we arent allowed a shower until the council says which should be in october yey lol
anyway i agree with you
it is a good idea because you lie in the bath and your own filth just floats away and then because your still in the bath it sticks back on you so you havent really been cleaned so dont worry it isnt weird
i think its a great idea

no the dirt settles at the bottom and it's not like i'm that dirty to be bathing in dirty water!
it's normally clear!
but here is a weird thing before i get in the tub when i do take a bath I rinse with a show prior to getting in the tub! now that's slightly JACKED UP!
but overall i take showers 98% of the times anyway!

That sounds a bit strange whats the point in having a shower after a bath??? Surely you are clean from the bath??? In answer to the question, no I dont!

Not if im having a relaxing soak but if i need to do my hair i'll wait until after my bath to do it in the shower, but not because im bothered about sitting in my dirty water.

My dad and bf does this but they have dirty jobs so i think they are right to.
I dont as i bath of an eve and shower in the morning so i can really be that dirty
But i dont think ur wierd at all
