I am getting tired of hearing this conspiracy crap. It was not a conspiracy to suspend a guy who has been noted for extremely questionable hits on plays that cause injury. It is not a conspiracy every time the senators go on a power play. Yes the Alfie goal was questionable, but the game ended 5-3 take out that goal and it ends 4-3 so your point is moot.

I know no one is going to agree with this opinion, but it's just what I've noticed around MY hockey friends I'm not generalizing to everyone. (So please save the thumbs down)

I used to have a friend that I respected his hockey opinion. I have been a fan for longer but he has developed a very good hockey outlook. He is a North Stars fan, so of course now he likes the Wild which is respectable cause he's from Minnesota...but he's developed a stupid political look at the Stanley Cup to where (even though hating the Ducks and Buffalo) he now wants them to win to "keep it in the states and away from the Canucks (the slur, not the team)." And it seems to be the majority feeling among my friends where no matter the validity of the call, the shot, the goal, whatever, that they just root against and make excuses against the Sens cause they want it to stay in America.

I'm American....my whole life lol...but I want the better team to take home the cup, I don't care what country they are from. To get technical, half the league's players are foreign anyway.

It has nothing to do with the Senators. Pronger got suspended last round, too, and Ducks fans said the same thing. It is just the Ducks using the old "we're not respected" speech to try to get some calls their way and to motivate the troops. All teams do it in their own way.

Wake up.... Neil takes 6 strides from the blue line, comes in at full speed and hits a Duck in the head with his forearm/elbow and the league says "No One Got Hurt".... So it looks like the league is favoring the Canadian teams.... If you want to remove the conspiracy label then Burk should hold out Neil for the Game 4 and send a message to the league that the Senators expect the same type of treatment from the league or they will police themselves.... Otherwise, it is a conspiracy to have a Canadian Team win the cup since it has been 13 years since Montreal won.... Can't win one on the ice so the officials will help you win one OFF the ice...

There will always be drama. Heck people think there is a conspiracy behind Yahoo answers. The Senators have heart and fight and they are candian. What would the world be without drama. The Senators will win because they want it more and have busted their tails to get here.

The Senators have always been and always will be an organization that thrives on whining everytime they lose a game. They should have always looked in their own dressing room for weakness & lack of heart rather than believe themselves to never be the blame.

They created conspiracy theories in hockey by losing, so often, in the first round playoffs and blaming officiating and / or anyone and everything near them except themselves.

You get back what you give. They created the conspiracy theory in hockey so let them have a taste of it themselves.

Sens want respect without earning it.
Yes, they have a good team, but I think they cry too much. Led by their cry-baby coach.
Murray should have adjustment plans for every game, but he just wants to be given a win.
Neil is a scared goon, he won't go after the bigger players on other teams. When they palyed against the Penguins, he definitely stayed away from Gary Roberts.
Finesse teams are sometimes good to watch, but if bigger teams can stop them, they get scared to go into the corners.
Sens need good toughness, someone like Maltby or Bertuzzi. They do have a very good goalie.
Maybe next year, after getting rid of Bryan and John.

1. A lot of Sens fans were sayign the same crap when the ducks were winning.

2. Are you actually stupid enough to think that the score would have been 4-3 without that bad goal?

Its called bad sportsmanship. Some of the Sens fans did it after games 1 and 2, crying about penalties going uncalled.

You’re always going to look petty when your team loses and you complain about the officiating.

I can't understand it either.

They are tough, balanced, deep and well coached.

They have earned the right to play for the cup with no extra help from the officials!
