in the scene when bale finds the water tank and jackman is drowning, why doesn't the clone of jackman comes out from up of the stage? (jackman was tranported by the machine before he saw bale then he should have no idea that bale is down the stage and so should've come from the upper side of the stage)

I think when Jackman saw what was happening, he decided to take advantage of the situation

Jackman set up Bale...... to come out would have given away his plot to make it seem like Bale killed him

Maybe he recognized Bale going behind the stage before being transported and decided not to reappear.

Jackman was setting bale up for murder....So if he comes out, bale won't think he is dead.

I think he must been waiting in the wings, and he heard the shouts and screams, and realise something was up. So he slipped out when no one was looking.
