what did you take? i did the excedrin migraine w/ caffine which usually works, but it didn't make it go away this time...

I take Imitrex for mine it's the ONLY thing that works for me and they only give me 11 for the month the a**holes
The rest of the time I take 2/ 800mg Ibuprofren...
God I h8 Migraines.......Sorry U Have 1 Now Wish I Could Help....=)

I take 2 excedrin with caffeine during the day or one for sinus headaches and at night I take excedrin PM and I sleep like a baby and in both cases the headache usually goes away.

What works best for me is closing all my blinds and making my room as dark as possible then just passing out for a few hours. Also putting a warm wash cloth on my forehead works because last time I took migraine median with caffeine in it I felt like my heart was going to explode.

my boyfriend gets them so bad he can't even get out of bed for 2 days sometimes. Usually at least a day, and I mean he really can't function at all. He takes a homeopathic migrane prevention thing before it comes on if he can. Otherwise nothing works for him but to stay in bed:-( and having me tip toe around the house and wait on him hand and foot. He get's cranio sacral therapy once a week too to help prevent them. Imitrex doesn't work for him.

Hey Niff,
Sorry you've got a migraine, The only thing
that works for me is aspirin and being in the
dark. I end up closing the lights and vertical
blinds in my office.

For some reason, I get the most awful headaches during my time of the month. I usually take Pamprin and everything goes away.

yep last week and i did just crawl back into bed i went to the e.r and got a needle can't remember what it was

The last severe headache I had was in the back of my head and I went to the ER. I don't know what they gave me, but there were pills and IV's and it was good stuff, whatever it was.
