Or ways of remaining cool, calm and collected on the big day?

You're on the right track with practicing good healt by eating a good balanced diet and getting adequate amounts of sleep. Keep on the health tip by doing exercise--whether it's yoga, step-aerobics, swimming, playing basketball, or walking instead of driving, or taking that elevator/escalator. When your body is in good working order, then so is your brain.

Of course, good studying habits are essential, as well. Rather than cramming it all at once, read in advance. Do a good read over of all material to slowly re-introduce and refresh concepts that were just learned and long forgotten. Afterward, you can judge which material to fully concentrate in case you are having difficulties in that area, while the easy material you can swiftly review as a refresher.

The big day has arrived! Did you get a good rest? That's important to eliminating any distractions of stomach pains and growling from hunger. Also, avoid caffeinated drinks like coffee. You can afford to get jittery before the examination. Make sure to have a good meal--just enough not to remain hungry or feel overstuffed--so that the body is functioning as it should and that you won't get distracted if it isn't.

Drink water, and if allowed, bring it to the exam with you. It's a great way to cool off if the intensity of the exam (the excitement of getting those answers done) cause you to prespire. Bring a small towel or handkerchief as well; remember, the less distractions your body may give you, the more you can focus on your test.

Dress comfortably on the exam. You don't want to feel restricted with tight pants, turtlenecks, or whatever. The fashion show was the first week of school, so forget about the look and think of utmost comfort. Whether comfort is snug or baggy clothing, or soft, earth-tone colours, or cotton clothing--whatever makes you feel good will help you feel at ease when doing the exam.

Take a shower, for goodness sake! Cleanliness is goodness, and you don't want to smell any 'stank' eminating from your armpits or shoes! A shower (or if you have time, a bath) will make you feel refreshed and ready for the big day. Splash on some body spray/perfume/cologne, but don't do overdo it.

Remember the overall theme is to create an easy, comfortable, and cozy atmosphere, as well as maintaining a stress-free and distraction-free environment for yourself. Good luck!

Breathe deeply. Get to the exam sites in plenty of time. Don't drink coffee but have a little water before you begin. Imagine yourself in a swivel chair at the center of a large round desk with all your knowledge spread out around you, neatly organized and readily accessible.

If it is a multiple choice exam in which all right answers have the same value, skip over the harder questions and answer all the easy ones first. Then go back and do the harder ones. That way you will get the highest possible number of right answers without running out of time.

I would say good luck, but it's not a question of luck. Well begun is half done. Break a leg.

Rule out the 2 stupidest answers to the prob. so you have a 50/50 chance. Then take your best guess if you don't know it. Make sure you eat bananas, pasta, or fish the day before or the day of the exam. Make sure to look over your notes and study guides the morning of the exam so you can clarify and refresh your memory.

1. If you can collect copies of previous exam, it would be better to answer them, as exams normaly have the same topics and only numbers will change but the solution is the same.

2. Do a mock exam, use a timer and start answering questions with time pressure.

The more you do the above, the more you get used with exams

of direction research however do not attempt to crame while you crame you'll be able to often overlook part of what you simply went over. I consistently research in period like I'll research for an hour take a holiday after which return over it. I do this a couple of instances until I suppose I obtained it. Have any individual quiz you and while you do well on that transfer directly to the following matter. Good Luck
