we have the 9th overall pick, Deng blossomed into the leader of the team and Tyrus Thomas has more talent than most of the young players in the NBA, we have Hinrich who if you compare him to Nash year by year Hinrich is ahead of Nash's pace in every category, Ben Gordon is the most clutch player in the NBA, (kobe has always been overrated as a clutch player, Kobe is 7-33 in the last 5 seconds for his career, that is weak weak weak.), we have Thabo Seffalocia who could develop into a Tayshawn Prince type player, we have Ben Wallace who destroyed Shaquille this year in the playoffs, when we add a low post presence who can score, this offseason, you people will realize that even Lebron wont be able to defeat a team as deep as ours. The only thing missing is low post scoring and we will address that in the draft, so to all you little monkeys who want to act like we dont have a team here in Chicago, get ready for another rude awakening.

jessica - look at dallas, the lakers, etc. that is not the reason. It is because we dont have a top tier star and the common no brain fan thinks that you need a Lebron or Duncan to win. Just look at the pistons in 2004, case closed. That is who the bulls are, 2004 pistons part 2. but better. We have more athletic players, just need one more post presence.

People have been overrating the Bulls not underating them.

The Bulls do not inside presence. They are right now a jumpshooting team. Until they get it one, they will be a good team that plays great defense but not someone that can make it to the finals. The might also have to give up some of there young playeers like Deng and/Gordon to get that low post big man.

The other thing that might hold them back is that they don't have that one great player that can take over games. Like Kobe, Wade and Lebron. Gordan is good, but not great. Deng as nice of a player but not a dominate one as of yet. Hinrich shouldn't be compared to Nash, he reminds me and some other people as Mark Price, which is a very good comparison.

Ben wallace is on the downside of his career and is not the same player. However with the Bulls being so young and loaded with talent, they will eventually get the pieces they need and probably will make the Finals sooner then later.

Edit: Don't compare the Pistons to the Bulls from 04. They had a low post presence with R. Wallace, also they were a dominate defensive team when it came to people trying to get into the lane. The Bulls are not there just yet. Also although the Pistons didn't have someone like Wade, Kobe or Lebron, those players elevate a team to win Championships. That's why most of the time, teams with those players always win a championship.

Because the Bulls are out of the playoffs. So if LeBron beat the Pistons, and the Pistons beat the Bulls, what makes you think LeBron can't beat the Bulls? Ben Gordon is NOT the most clutch player in the NBA, even if Kobe isn't (which he is).

people don't care about you unless you make the semi finals
EDIT: Bruce I'm not talking about big named stars like the Lakers&Kobe and Dallas is just a big star for making NBA finals last year. Miami won the NBA finals so everyone pays attention to them. Yes you do need a player like Lebron to do well.Who cares about the pistons in 2004. They could've done well or not. I mean they made post season 2 years in a row and woulda made NBA finals if Lebron didn't play well or injured. Listen to everybody else about your team if you don't believe in me. I'd also like to see you win without a toptier star or even make it 2 postseason. If Cavs can beat Pistons whos saying the bulls could beat Lebron and his cavs? I'd really like to see Lebron this year lose to the bulls because I know its impossible. If you don't want to listen me thenn i will just wonder why I even went for 2 points on 1 question when i know i won't get 10 points. We on Yahoo!Answers are allowed to share our opinions so I don't care if you start a chain of people thumbs downing me.I have more fire in me but it may get me reported so I'll stop here and keep underrating your bulls when all people do is overrate them.

What WILL happen and what HAS happened are two different things. The fact is that they lost in the second round. You don't get rated highly by anyone until you win. Even if you are right about their future, until they DO it, no one is going to respect your team, and no one should.

People do not underrate the Bulls, you're the one who did it.

As good as they are, they live and die with their perimeter jumpshoots. They really needs a low post threat in order to open up the perimeter shooter.
