The only people that find these two teams interesting are each cities fans. Everyone else is so tired of these two teams being talked about like they are the greatest ever. The sorry Sox finally won a World Series what??? four or five years ago and now the Bostonians think they are the greatest team ever, well they are right, they are still the greatest at joking. They will probably choke away that division lead, they most certainly will not win another World Series for a good 30 years. The Yankees, well they are just a bit more tolerable than the Sox. Yankees have a history they can boast about at least. Not just one lame Series win. Boston Blows!

Wrestle Man, my favorite team would be the Twins but the question has nothing to do with that. I can see where this is leading. I know you'll probably come back with the Twins suck, they are the worst and blah blah blah. It's not about that. I just get tired of the whole Yankee/Red Sox thing. Yeah the Twins pitching sucks, the owner doesn't open the wallet, they are barely .500 blah blah blah but they are also not pounded into your head everyday. Last I checked there was 28 other teams in the league other than the tiresome Yankees and Red Sox. Sure the Yankees/ Red Sox series might be interesting if they were both good teams and were in a competitive division but they are not!!!

LOLOLOLO Buzz, Maxipad and Icky or whatever that clowns name is are the classics. Typical Boston fans that get all defensive when the truth is put out there. Boston and New York is not the greatest rivalry there is. That is your opinion, millions of people would pick something else Bears/Packers, Army/Navy you could go on and on. The Yankees have a storied franchise and Boston has blown pretty much their entire exsistence. What do I base it on as that other mo mo said,,,, um fact, they have sucked forever and finally won one World Series and you think you have the same storied franchise as the Yankees. You used to whine about the yankees buying their teams and then once Boston started doing it you just assumed you had a great franchise. Everyone in the nation with the exception of NY/Boston is sick of those two blow A$$ teams. Get over it!! Boston has probably the worst sports fans in the country they treat visiting teams and fans like S..t and that is the plain facts. Losers!

Oh and how about those Boston fans! Not only do they suck they do not appreciate great teams. The Patriots are a perfect example! what they win 2 Super Bowls in three seasons and then start off slow, I think it was like 3 - 5 and they were booing them. What a bunch of pathetic loser fans. Boston blows big time. Crip they can't even dig a hole properly much less put in one straight road. What a dump!

I was so happy last night when Arod hit that home run,And shut up those arrogrant fans,They went to to fenway park, and harassed Arod all weekend,Even the sportcasters said it was terrible how they treated him,,But you see,Boston fans think that, when they scream, and shout, and just get down right rude, that the yankees will get scared and nervous, instead the yankees feed on it,,So on the top of the 9th Arod not only wipped the smirk off PapleBomb's face,,He shut those arrogrant fans up for the 1st time all weekend!! It was priceless! And he laughed his @ss off in the locker room!!!

I don't think the Indians are the least bit intimidated by the Red Sox. Why is it when your team wins the first game of a play-off series, you automatically think the next game is going to have the same outcome. What if Red Sox lost, I know they didn't but what would you be saying then, well it's only the first game & they will win second game. Win game #2 first before making such a bold prediction. Remember it's a 7 game series, so it it's far from over.

Why don't you compare the ratings each night on ESPN. Check out the ratings when say, Minnesota plays Kansas City against when the Red Sox play the Yankees. Then you will have your answer.
Not only is the this the biggest rivalry, but they have the biggest fan base across the country.

Your opinion is terrible and based on nothing, except trying to think of some controversial question. Sorry, but they really are the only 2 profitable teams that have the largest fan base throughout the country - Do something else if you can't stand to watch the games.

How can you say with a straight face and be serious when you say the Red Sox are not a great team? They have the best record in baseball and lead in almost every category imaginable in MLB. The Yankees are done for this year. The Red Sox?? World champions come October!!

The Bosox Yankees matchup is boring. Definitely overplayed. At first it was a great match up of two teams with a long time rivalry. Today, it's like don't these teams ever play anyone else.

Well, you should be happy then, because these two teams have only two series left against each other and the next one isn't until Aug. Don't worry, Sox fans will be eating alot of humble pie after they blow this lead and that should stifle some of their obnoxious behavior.

personally im a yankee fan. but i basically agree with you. i enjoy more watching the games than having red sox fans come up to me and tell me and explain to me the matchup between my team and theirs. im just like okay, get over it. the league isnt just red sox vs. yankees. i just enjoy watching the game, vs. red sox or not. and i also think that your right with the whole red sox boastng about a world series thing three years ago. hmm lets think 26 > 6 by i think 20! so they can get over it. and let everyone else just enjoy the game .
