no offence to our overseas friends i know your sleep pattern is different to uk ...so to all from uk why are you on here through the day why are you not working ...or are you working from home ...stay at home parents or like me sick from work ....or are you a millionaire who can afford to sit here all day and play ....just wondered ......thanks

I Work, but it's my day off. Should be doing housework and laundry but playing here is more fun. I will rush around like a looney before everyone comes in and pretend I have been busy all day... ;-)

If I'm appearing on UK, it's due to Yahoo itself, not my own personal settings or preferences. I prefer not to be insulted for simply showing up.
I work from home and go to the office occasionally. I edit medical text and do research for pharmaceutical companies. I get paid very well.
This "playing" is what I do when I'm not rolling in piles of good old U.S. money.

not everyone works, not everyone on here lives in the UK, and people do have days off from work, all of which allow them to come on here. I live in Spain, but lived in the UK from birth till I retired.

I'm on terminal leave from the Navy. Free holidays at the end of my highly boring (mostly) and not particularly illustrious career.
That said, I should be studying for the Managerial Accountancy exams I'm going to be sitting next year....

I guess some of them don't work. Or are out of school (me). Some people work in offices, so they may be bored at work and playing on the computer!

i work in a company with only 4 other members of staff, im the highest rankin after the md an he is in france so im sat at my desk surfin the web!!!

i work 6.00am -12 noon come home and do my housework just had a couple of hours on here then going to get tea ready, then wash pots watch a bit of telly then back on here then bed......good day
