Is that true? I dont know now but many years ago I visited Bombay. You had to buy a ticket to go in, duly stamped by the Government of India charging Rs.13 being the "Entertainment Tax" and all brothel houses were near Peela House on Grant Road with all the lights on with Numbers allotted by the Government to attract more and more customers. Isn't it shocking, Government adding up revenue through prostitution?

The SITA (stoppage of illegal trafficking act) act is there, but still, it is, in many places. Why in AP? Even in places like Mumbai, there are many Self Made prostitutes who are working as Secretaries and Air hostesses etc, hooking the bosses and passengers. No law can do anything about them!

NO! THE IMMORAL TRAFFIC (PREVENTION) ACT 1956. It extends to the whole of India. Andhra Pradesh is a part of India. This enactment/offence is covered under the Union List & not under the State list or Concurrent List as provided under the Constitution of India. Hence the prostitution is illegal & punishable offence in whole of India including Andhra Pradesh.
