Yes, Norelas is destroyed by its own effect.Truthfully, Demise, King of Armageddon is better because it doesn't touch your hand and it isn't destroyed by its own effect.

Yes, it is destroyed unless it is specifically instructed , like neo dedalus ocean dragon lord( ....all hands and crad inthe field is sent into the graveyard except for this card....)
