I can't stand it anymore. People just need to realize the playoffs were not rigged. Especially the Pistons/Cavs series. People seem to think it was rigged so the NBA could make money by having Lebron in the Finals. Hell, he's been in for a few years now, if they wanted to make money off this guy, they would've made sure he was in the finals every year. So, my point is they playoffs were not rigged. The Cavs were just good enough to make the finals.

I must say this I'm not a Cavs fan. My team is the Mavs. So this is coming from someone who isn't a fan of the Cavs.

That's a great question. I'm glad that you brought this up. I have no idea why ppl think that the playoffs are rigged. Think about this. These are questions you must ask yourself if you really think that the games are rigged....

1) So if you think that the playoffs are rigged, then why are you watching a sport, and pulling for teams, in something that you believe to be fixed????? How intelligent does that make you sound??????

2) Even more importantly, if you think the playoffs are rigged, why are you now commenting and complaining about something that is fixed????????

I hope this helps you. Ppl claiming that the playoffs are fixed, and talking about the marketing of the sport, yet they still watch it, sound incredibly ignorant. It only makes you look like an idiot to gripe and complain about the sport being fixed. lol. Why ppl get upset over something they believe to be fixed is beyond me.

The cavs WEREN"T good enough to make the Finals. You don't have a team where every analyst in the NBA is telling everyone no one is going to beat this team, this team is going to walk thru the playoffs. When the pistons met the cavs every guys on TNT was telling you CAV fans that your team was going to get WHOMPED.... pretty funny how every game was like a 2 point difference. Was it because it was so evenly matched or was it because everytime a lead was established the Ref's brought the cavs right back in the game. Im not taking nothing away from Lebron, he's great. But the ref's won this series, because Pistons/Spurs series had the worst NBA ratings ever. The NBA can't afford that right now, so they MADE IT one of the Faces of the sport would be in the Finals. Which means MORE MONEY. The refs play a bigger part in the game then the players do anymore. And thats for every team. Every person has watched a game at one point and thought the same thing. You know its the truth but because your team got the benifits from it, you ignore it. Thats normal, so enjoy your time, but when lebrons time is up, you will be saying the same thing. When a NEW STAR emerges....Buddy.

I disagree with you. Come on, we all know that everyone wanted the cavs to get to the finals for the first time, so if you are in denial about the games being rigged, there must be something wrong with you. I don't care that my team lost, but at the same time, it was not called fairly by the refs. I call BS. Lebron is a little too overrated for me and I personallly can't stand his attitude.

Like a few people have said here already, it's a really subjective list. About 7 guys have a legit case as GOAT. Here's my top 10 (changes alot, depending on how I feel). 1. Michael Jordan 2. Kareem Abdul jabbar 3. Larry Bird 4. Magic Johnson 5. Hakeem Olajuwon 6. Shaquille O'Neal 7. Wilt Chamberlain 8. Tim Duncan 9. Bill Russell 10. Bean

I am sick of this theory also. The Pistons played like garbage in all six games, and that meant the series was "rigged" by the refs, coming down from David Stern so we wouldn't have to see the Pistons in the finals? It's totally ridiculous! So Teyshaun Prince missed 50 of 60 shots (or something like that) on purpose? And Chauncey Billups, who is going to be a free agent, played the worst series by far in his career so he could help his future contract? It's all absurd! Yes, the superstars (Lebron, Jordan, Duncan, etc.) get their share of calls, but the Pistons were able to overcome that when they beat the Lakers in the finals with a bunch of good players and no superstars, while the Lakers had Kobe and Shaq.

Thank You! Plus don't you think if it was rigged, the official that got suspended earlier in the year would have outed the NBA for suspending him. It is better for Lebron to be in the finals than the Pistons, but that was just the Cavs playing hard to get there.

I with u on that one...I get kinda sick of it too when people said that it was "setup" or in ur case it was rigged. I mean the better team won, especially in game 5 when Lebron was on fire scoring teams last 25 points including 4th quarter and OT, no one can do it like Lebron. Pistons focused on Lebron too much Game 6, doubling him and what not. The better team what and that's final. It seems that way because many people thought the team who's the hands down winner but it isn't always like that.

they were not rigged and here's why

game 2 lebron got fouled but they didn't call it and if they did the cavs would have won and they should have won game 2 so I totally agree with you it's not rigged we're just seeing the next big thing

Its Rigged, but I don't care, hopefully the league will order the Lakers to win it all next year.

I agree, I don't think any player on any team would willingly let their team lose, especially during the postseason. The only reason players would willingly lose would be tanking to get a better draft pick.
