Yes, I do. Guns are not dangerous unless an untrained or reckless person is holding/using it. In the right hands, a gun can be extremely safe.
I've had extensive training on weapons...everything from small pistols, rifles, shot guns, machine guns, grenade launchers, and anti-tank weapons.

.22 and .44 pistol semi-auto pistols. A 30-30 Winchester lever action, cowboy rifle. A 12gage pump shotgun. A .50 black-powder muzzle loader.
The last thing I shot was a full auto Uzi. Fun.
If I were a female there is no way I would go anywhere without a gun. My ex used to hitchhike with a 9mm stuffed down her pants.

Yes, several. There is nothing to be scared about. Respect, yes but fear, no. The prime rule is all guns are always loaded.
And actually, women in general are better shots than men. You ought to give one a try.

You should be more frightened by what a car can do to you.
I used to be scared of learning about computers also, but once you figure out which end the bullet comes out of, it's pretty easy to figure out how to handle them safely.
It's a tool, like any other thing we have.

Yes & if we all owned & carried guns the criminals would not get away with what they do, they wouldn't have the balls for half of what they pull if the playing field was even. They might just have to get a job!!

I own a few. Im ex-military so I guess I have a differnt view on weapons. If you know your weapon well you shoudnt be scared of it at all.
Of course combination gun locks and other methods of security are crucial when you have kids.

I grew up around them My Dad was a hunter, But Iam with you I dont like them they scare me also.
