Just a simple question guys. Not trying to accuse anybody or anything. Just want to know your opinion.
Don't you think there should be age limit on Yahoo! Answers? Start with like 16 and older?
It seems like the younger people take everything too seriously.
What do you think?

Jimmie J? That was totally unnecessary. If you didn't have anything nice to say, you shouldn't have said anything at all.

I am not going to enforce anything. I can't do it anyway.
And I don't think they should be banned from the website either. I just think they should have a special area for teenagers and anyway ... what are parents for?

I believe there should be an age limit on certain subject matter. And if you find they take things too seriously then you should state in your question that you would like the response for 16 y/o's and up.

I don't think that they should be banned completely. I think Yahoo needs to have a separate yahoo! Answers for the younger crowd and you should be 16/18 before they are allowed to join us in more adult conversations

I think it should be for everyone, but parents need to know what their child is doing on the internet. Because some of them don't care. Also they get help to on here with their problems that they are going through in life and they need help because they are younger and they feel that they probably could ask on here and since we don't know them, we won't judge them!BUT if they are acting childish, then they shouldn't be on here

Everyone should enjoy. They will get better answers from older people, especially when they are asking serious questions about sex, dating, drugs, etc.

I would not want a 13 year old giving my hypothetical 12 year old advice on any of those things.

I do, however, think that they should post your age somewhere in your question. Sorry ladies ;[

You seem to assume (something one should never do}that those under 16 would tell the truth about their age.If 50 year old men try to pass themselfs off as 15 year old girls. a 12 or 13 year old could pass themselfs off as 16 or older. But yes I do agree

I think yahoo has an age limit requirement is not a age issue but protecting young people from on-line predators and not an age issue that's my opinion!
