Peyton Manning - Indianapolis Colts

Sigh, here we go again... Super Bowl championships are team achievements, not individual ones. So, I don't care if Brady (or any other quarterback) has been on teams which have won 17 of the things it just doesn't matter. Every quarterback has won precisely the same number of super bowls, zero.

Now, let's consider some relevant facts...

This season, Peyton Manning will reach #4 on the all-time touchdown list and #7 on the all-time yardage list and #7 on the all-time completions list. He is doing this while only being #11 in attempts. Does anyone seriously believe that he will not hold every significant career passing record one day?

Manning has more responsibility than any other quarterback and studies more than any other player.

Manning has never missed a start as a professional. Not one. Think about that for a moment and consider what an amazing achievement that is.

Manning is far and away the best quarterback of this generation.

well it comes down to brady or manning and this why brady wins. brady gets the job done with no receivers around him, he reads the defense better than manning and plays smarter. manning puts up better stats yes, but manning also throws tds passes when leading by 20 pts in the 4th quarter just to break records. oh yeah he also has harrison and wayne do you think brady might throw more tds with those guys as well. if numbers are what matters why not look at the number of rings. i know its not fair thats why i dont argue that point. the pats won superbowls on drives where brady was smart and he took the short pass given to him and didnt force anything and he just put his team in a position to win the game. manning on the other hand hasnt done that especially against pittsburgh a few years back where he went for the end zone 3 times and picked up no additiuonal needed yards then lets vanerjadgt get blame for missing a 45+ yarder. hey peyton try getting 10-15 to help your kicker instead of going for the glory, i think vinatieri appreciates when brady does this. also jim sorgi indy's backup has a 99.3 career rating, not cause he is a wesome but because the receivers are. peyton did finally get a ring but did he really win the superbowl, no he sucked almost the whole playoffs, brady leads the team he produces and puts then in a position to win

Number 12 Tom Brady of the Patriots. He knows how to win and has great pocket prescence. He has accuracy and power and can take a hit. He isn't exactly a running threat but he's known to take off if he has a clear, short lane for the first down. He's a great leader and makes his whole offense better just by being Tom Brady. He's almost never a problem with not trying hard or complaining about staff or team mates. He puts all his focus on football and not on commercials like Manning. He's brought an alright team to elite status with not much help when it comes to recievers. And this year he has all these great recivers and he should shine brighter than ever.

Peyton Manning. Indianapolis Colts. His accuracy and strength is amazing. The Colts 4th and 5th string recievers look good because of him. Every pass he throws can be caught. And if he is not bothered its almost perfect. He is harder to sack because of his size and is constantly improving on moving out of the pocket. He breaks record after record, and despite him not having the greatest sucess in the post-season he has put together some amazing comebacks, that Tampa Bay game in 03 (or was it 02?) was amazing. He has led his team to a superbowl victory. He is an extremely hard worker, doesn't get full of himself, and will be the greatest of all time by the time he is done. assuming he doesnt get injured or something. Hes never missed a start, he is loyal to his team and his teammates, he take the blame for a loss just as much as everyone else, but not so much as to say it was all his fault, he gets on his teammates when he needs to, but still know when to compliment them. Hes just a great QB and more importantly a great person.

Easily Peyton manning.... The numbers are just too good. Before he won a superbowl an argument could have been made for Brady, but now we know Manning can win the big game, and he's more than just a system QB. Brady is good, just Manning is amazing. A good question would have been who's the next Greatest QB, because I think this race is already run.

Ben Roethlisberger will prove to be the greatest. Last season was a fluke due to the motorcycle wreck, and appendix. But this year the Steelers have reloaded. Ben has a tight end who can block and catch, a receiver in Hines Ward who leads by example on and off the field, and a tandem of running backs in Fast Willie, and Davenport who will make everybody forget last season, and show that Big Ben is the QB of the new century.

TOM BRADY totally is. Obviously he play's for the Patriots, and he's the best because he's won the Pat's three Super Bowls in 6 seasons.

Right now it would have to be Tom Brady of New England with Peyton Manning of the Colts being real close. Tom Brady accomplishments speak for itself. Both of them prove themselves with a strip down offense (lost of RB's and receivers) and still prove to be a dominant force in the game. Much respect for both of them.
