Flash burn..(Symptoms) Eyes feel like they have sand in them and most of vision is lost while in this conditions... Or welders Burn...Correction to correct and draw burn out, and this works...Cut a fresh potato in half and lay down with inner half of potato's covering eye lids. After 4 hours replace with fresh potato..This process will take 24 to 48 hours..

Yes, you certainly can. Welders refer to it as a 'flash burn' and it feels as if you have a bunch of hot sand underneath your eyelids for a day or so.

Yes you can, and it's quite painful.

If you get one try sitting in a darkened room with a cold wet wash cloth over your eyes. It'll reduce the pain a lot.

The eyelids maybe, but the eyes, I say that's retinal damage.
