Ask them not to park on your lawn as you try to take care of your property and want it to look nice.
I have a hard time with people so ignorant that they do this. It really is white trash behavior.

I don't know if there really is a diplomatic way - they are either clueless about what it does to your lawn or they don't care -
I would go over, or when they are outside, perhaps getting in to their car, say nicely that you don't want them parking on your lawn
Is it in the front of the house, on the road - or is it on the side of their driveway?
If you telling them to stop parking there doesn't work, you can try putting up a barrier of some kind - a fence is probably an expensive option, but if you could maybe get a hold of a few large rocks??? but then you'd have obstacles to mow around :)
Just try to be cordial when saying it - don't yell, or they are more likely to retaliate - I used to work in an office where we saw these types of complaints on a regular basis - and once it got to this particular location ... with outside involvement, resentment had already set in to both neighbors, so the situation kept escalating ...
Always better to try dealing with it on your own - and being nice (at least at first) is better - you do have to live next to them after all :)

If you are unsure about their reaction & don't want to find out how abusive they may become then make a garden.
If they can park in your yard then it must be open to drive into. So, either make a garden right along the front of the yard so they can't drive in. OR plant some bushes that will grow to a medium height right across.
Go to your local Plant Nursery for advice on whats best to plant in your area & how the plant will grow. Put in tall stakes with torn up old material on the top to alert the neighbours that the plants are there. Make it absolutely clear that you now have gardens in that space.
If they comment on the new garden just be jovial & say "Yeah, I decided to green up the place. Make an improvement to my front yard.".......something along those lines that they can't argue with.
This would give you a civil way out of the situation without any confrontation. If they object to the garden just say "I love my garden, Sorry about that, didn't think about that".
Play dumb. I hope I've given you some idea as to how to handle this. I think that they are very rude. They would also be breaking the law as they are parking on your property without your permission. However, to avoid any law entangelments my suggestions could be a good solution.
Good luck.

___Here's your sign! Make it, stake it, enforce it!
No parking on property. Towing fee will be at owners expense.
Businesses use it everyday and they get results. If your neighbors find out it will cost them, they won't do it anymore if it hurts their wallet.
You have rights like everyone, you pay your taxes, diplomacy sometimes doesn't get it.
Nice will not do when others are being rude and disrespectful.
Ask them what part of NO did they not understand, and stand your ground. Just venting there!!!
Have the property marked off and flagged to prove your point. Law is on your side, not for rude slackers who apparently don't care either.

If you want to be diplomatic, just talk to them and tell them you do not want them to park on your property. Note your reasons (although being your property, you shouldn't need any other reasons) Explain that you don't want any problems but if they insist on continuing, you will need to take more action. If they can't understand that, you'll need the actions anyways. For legal coverage, post a No Parking sign.

If you get along with them, and don't want to cause too many waves, park in that spot for a while.
If you want to irritate them a little so they get the message, park behind them, beside them, or however you have to in order to "park them in" so they have to ask you to move to get out.
If you already don't like them, have the vehicle towed from your property. You will have to post a "parking by permit only" sign or something similar to make their parking illegal. That way, they're trespassing.

Say, I would really appreciate it if you try not to park on my yard.
And don't use any sort of sarcastic tone.
