Do you like to breathe? Photosynthetic organisms provided our oxygenated atmosphere billions of years ago, and continue to renew it on a daily basis.

As we know photosynthesis is the process where plants make their food with the aid of sunlight, thus, it (the process) helps plants grow and in return (second reason) gives of oxygen which us homo sapiens and other oxygen consumers use to breathe.
