Maybe if the football is solid gold with diamond-encrusted laces and then you subtract the amount it is devalued by the graffiti of Brian Griese's signature, then $10,000 might be about right.

But if you seriously want to know what a football signed by a QB who has spent the majority of his career on the bench and once injured himself by tripping over his dog (or so he says), I would say the price of the ball plus about 10 bucks...$20 if you sell it to a University of Michigan fan.

A signed Brett Favre, Dan Marino, John Elway, and Joe Montanta ball COMBINED doesn't even cost $10,000. Whoever pays $10,000 for a Brian Griese ball is a sucker and pretty stupid.

Only at auction for an autographed game used helmet by a die-hard fan perhaps, but the helmet is valued at approximately $300 in mint condition with a certificate of authenticity or some form of verification; even a personal photo of the signing.

Maybe if the ball was plated with gold, was filled with diamonds and other valuable gems, and Greise's signature was one of many signature including Troy Aikman, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Tony Romo, Jerry Rice, Emmit Smith, and maybe Tiger Woods too!

Yes they might!

I bought a football at a garage sale for $1
At today's 2.1% annual inflation rate this football will cost $10,000 in only 462 years :)

Apparently $9,965 too much...and another 10 for shipping.
