Animals of many types, including humans really do exist like that out there, the problem is it is a birth defect and many that are born with it do not live long. Kinda like animals that are born with two heads or three eyes (saw that on a cow once).

Anyway like I said cyclopia is just a birth defect that tends to be fatal within a few days, at most a few weeks of birth.

I've never seen a kitten that small, but they do exist when they're born. :) Cyclopia is a birth defect. The animal rarely survives, as is nose and mouth tend not to form. There's a website on this, where I have seen those same pictures and there's information on there as well.

Looks like a mutated rat, or cat fetus. Congenital cyclops abnormalities are not unknown. In humans they occur in relation to other abnormalities, such as trisomy 13 or 18. They generally result in miscarriages.
