I have just been sold a one year old Leopard tortoise and a three year old Herman tortoise. The guy I bought them off told me I could keep tham together but I have just been informed by someone that I shouldn't. Please can people give me some advice. Also what to feed tham and how much they eat per day. Thanks.

You should never keep different species of turtles together. They could be come very ill. People should read and research as much information on their pets before they get them!!! Talk to your vet. Read a book about turtles and tortoises. There are a lot of turtle and tortoise info on the web.
Go to www. tortoise.org Good Luck.

You CAN keep them together, but really should not. You should also have checked Leopards before buying one- these guys get BIG!

Try this site for all the care info you could ever need for these two: http://www.tortoisetrust.org
