Heredity, the meaning has been changed for the past few decades.. is it true?

Even though there is no peace of mind in the following life, people like to bring their children to the same field as they were:

Political persons wants that their children must come into power : Actor/actoress wants to bring their children to the Cinema field: and making heros:

Does it mean that they wants to enjoy the luxuary and soverginity in life?

I think if people enjoy what they do ti is only natural for them to encourage their children. After all, some talents are inherited genetically. Thus, if someone were a brilliant mathematician, statistically they would have children who might excel in their field. On the other hand, I know of plenty of actors and actresses who actively discourage their children from the theatre or films; only to see them work in the field.

My father was a baker. I love to cook and bake, but I much prefer to use my creativity writing, painting or doing photography.

In America, at least, we are a land of opportunity. So, even if you are not related to someone of importance you can excel in the field of your choice. IF you are willing to work hard!

Yes ! you are right at the second part in the details of the question, but last sentence should be this way "they want to ensure the luxury and sovereignty in life of their children".
The meaning of heredity has not been changed but sense has surely been changed negatively, and you know such changes are the result of the fear of the acts committed by those people which won't allow them to lead peaceful living, also as every parents do their best for their children to secure their better living, those wrong doers and luxurious people also indulge their children in the way they themselves have come up, because generally they don't have other ways to bring up them.
You know ! not so far behind, hereditary professionals, in true sense in their profession, were committed to the "HUMANITY", be in medicine, politics, astrology, education, and even in low class of job i.e. carpentry, cobblers, barbers, washer man and many more (keeping intact their present & bringing up their children to any hight; Shri Jagjeevan Ram, Dr Ambedker, then president Gyani Zail Singh "their parents inhereted their community job", even you reach far behind and remember the name of Sant Raidas, butcher Azamil and many more who by inhereting their community job not only they made their place in then society but in to days society also their teachings are followd (in education and in Hindu & many Hindu associated religions wherein intouchability is being negatively politicised).
