That is the million dollar question. I am sick & tired of awful grammar & misspelled words. There is a spell check right above the box where you type so there's no excuse.
I feel that even if someone has something intelligent to say that it goes by the way side if it's written in text lingo, abbreviated words, etc. To me it shows that the person doesn't take the time. I've commented to some about it & they say it's so they can type faster. Well, type faster if you'd like, but it looks uneducated & is rude (just like typing in all caps) .
I would hate to think that the young people today are terrible spellers, but I'm afraid this is fact. My husband teaches high school & it's unbelievable that these kids are almost through high school & such awful spellers.

Maybe because the spell check Americanizes the spelling

Yes, that drives me crazy. I also think they should add a grammar check to YA. Why are there so many people that can't spell or type or write correctly.

in basic terms helping us walk greater advantageous into the way forward for Idiocracy. no person discovered the thank you to spell surprising in those final 30 years and depended on being advised, like each and every thing else, the thank you to think of, the thank you to gown, the thank you to be a stable, obeying, tax/debt paying robotic. American guidance at this is maximum appropriate....a million+a million=666

See people usually dnt hve and time and they just wnt der message to be conveyed.....in a very short and sweet time...and if their msg is conveyed i dnt think they hve a need for spell check...>>in other cases if u r writing a letter to someone or if its somethin formal than u definately need to use spell check<<<

I think it's probably because they are in a hurry and don't think to check spelling.

well if can't spell they must be thick so how do you expect a thick person to use a spell check they wouldn't know which spelling to use

because they cld b in hurry or just don't want 2 spend time on writing things dat cld b understood even without correct spellings.
