Download the software from the link given below and run it.. copy the extracted files on a cd. Now from your `BIOS' configure the cd/dvd rom to be the `1st boot device'. Put the cd you just made into your pc's drive and reboot the same.. you should come up with a prompt like:

a:\>

From here type

Format c:\*.*

That is all

umm formatting a pentium 4 is the same as an amd athlon, pentium 3 pentium 2, just (if xp) stick the disc in, and click enter at the windows xp setup screen

Do you have the cd from which you instaled the os?

if yes then insert the cd and reboot!
once it reboots press Esc or F1.
you will go into setup...
then follow the wizard...

open the cd drive
put xp disk in
restart computer
when it says "press any key to boot from cd" press any key
follow onscreen directions

click start>run>type "cmd">then in the black screen type "format c"
