c- Must maintain ability to absorb necessary substances and sufficiently eliminate wastes.

a) After mitosis always 2 cells are produced from the original one. We say two daughter cells are formed.

b) Well a body needs to undergo mitosis for growth and repair. Simply to replace or compensate degenerated cells. Also when a zygote( a cell formed after fertilization), it needs to undergo mitosis to produce an organism.

C) Well as the cell grows it must have the same genetic material as the original cell. This cell then needs to undergo metabolic reactions to produce energy and products that our body needs for living.

3.) This will be an example of co-dominance. In this it doesn't matter whether the alleles in the homologous chromosomes are dominant or recessive. If the homologous chromosome consists of two alleles that can produce proteins, then both will be produced and forms a different phenotype or characteristics to that of a homozygote.
