Intelligent life no doubt does exists in the universe and they would eventually become technological.
It's not likely they would look anything like us,but there would have to be some similarities.
They would have to be able to communicate by speech and writing.
Besides legs they would need some sort of prehensile appendages like our arms and hands.
They would probably think and act like us which would likely set them on a course of an early demise.
I agree,it would be cool no matter what.

I don't know about foxes maybe talking wolves would be better or a humanoid species that evolved from wolves or foxes, but talking four legged foxes sounds a bit like a fairy tale to me and if i seen a four legged talking fox i would soon expect a white rabbit with a pocket watch to come running past me and i would seriously begin to doubt my sanity.
