Put simply..
a) no
b) no
In a relationship love and respect should come together as one thing really so there's no real need to answer each section seperately.
True love for someone is self sacrafice, you care for that person more than you do yourself. If you find yourself cheating on that person then it is not possible to feel love for them.
People now get confused and get "love" mixed up with "comfortable routine" or "regular sex". And it is a great shame.
If you are cheating on your partner then something has gone horribly wrong and you should talk about your relationship with your partner. If you do not love her then you have to end it. It is cruel to continue something which you have no intention to be true to.
Cheating is wrong, and too many people try to find a way to justify it in order to live with the guilt.
I hope you are not a victim of being cheated on, nor intend to cheat on anyone yourself. I hope this comment helps.

You can definitely still be in love with your partner, but if you are cheating on them there is no way you can still respect them. That is the ultimate lack of respect within a relationship

If you are cheating on your partner, you may think you love them and respect them, but you really don't completely.
Obviously, there is something missing from the relationship if you are doing this...and the person cheating feels like they cannot express what is missing to their partner.

A hearty NO to both. If you love and respect your partner you would not, could not and can not cheat on them. Part of respect and love of your partner is assuring that you do not hurt them. I have to say that cheating is the worst kind of hurt and betrayal that a relationship can have.

a) sure it is possible. not probable, but possible. I cheated on my wife of 21 years. I will always love her, but I was not in love with her. I think you must look deeper into what made you want to cheat.
My now ex-wife is the mother of my child. I will always hold a bond with her for that reason. You should also ask yourself "am I happy".
Life is way to short to be unhappy. If you find out what made you want to cheat you then can figure out how to be happy with your partner, but more importantly with yourself.
You once were happy with them, if you're not now and dont want to figure it out then its time to leave. Cuz your not doing either of you any good.
b) Respect your partner...I dont understand. What has your partner done for you to disrespect them??? You are the one who may be cheating...Do you respect yourself???
Good luck

If you mean by cheating that you are dealing with a sex only situation then yes, it is possible. If you mean you're having a relationship with someone else, then it is highly doubtful that you are in love with or respecting of your partner. There is a big difference.

No. You could possibly love your partner, but not be 'in love' with your partner.
Definite NO on respecting your partner if you're cheating on him/her.
If you were in love and respected your partner, you wouldn't cheat, or want to.

I would say yes to (a) and no to (b). I think it is possible to love two people at the same time but because of the nature of cheating i dont think you are respecting them due to the deceit and lies etc that you usually have to tell.

I suppose it would be possible to still be in love with your partner, but as for respecting them, absolutely not.
