Because those that booed him don't appreciate everything that goes into being a great footballer. They just think that unless he is scoring regularly then he isn't playing well. They forget that he rarely gives the ball away and sets up more chances than most. They forget that he defends well and is a major clearer of set pieces played into our box and they forget that without him we would not have even qualified for the last world cup as he was our top scorer in qualification. Maybe these so called fans should study the game a little more and appreciate Frank for the talent that he is.

Because he has not played well for England since before the last world cup and he was cr*p again against Brazil...so people get fed up cos they know how well he can play!!
I've nothing against Lampard..he's great for Chelski..but it's nice to see someone other than Beckham getting slated in the England team...Becks played great against Brazil by the way!!

he did not perform up to standards during the england vs brazil match. n nowadays, he's not really himself. he is not as good as he was in the past he's not performing really well at chelsea as there are other ppl even better than him like drogba. n in the england team, most ppl say he cannot play in e same team as Steven Gerrard as he would then be not as good. But McClaren thinks both of the world's best midfielders can play together.

I am not an England fan but Gerrard and Lampard. Thats like spreading liquid cement on your toast and then trying to eat it. NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
