Democracy, any day....and the freedom of speech and expression that goes with it.
I am from India....the largest democratic country in the world.

A democracy, with a proportional voting system, so the country isn't dominated by 2 main parties, also I think a republic is far more preferable to a monarchy.

Neither. A monarch potential you have no decision of who governs you. BTW, the define you're making of a democracy under severe socialism and obstacles of freedom are contradictory. a central authority under such situations could in no way be seen a democracy.

If the government was what it was or is suppose to be then I'd say democracy. BUT that's what we are suppose to be living. BUT here in the USA it is more of a dictatorship than anything.

I would rather live in a democracy, where we have our freedom to choose. Freedom of speech, religion, etc. Just think about the people in other countries that don't have these freedoms and how stifled they must feel. GOD BLESS THE USA!

No system really works as we are stupid humans who accept whatever comes our way, but I wouldn't give up living in a democracy for anything. Well maybe just one, PARADISE.
