Hands down the Dragon. Due to its massive size, speed and toxic/fatal bite the poor iguana does not stand a chance. Iguanas do have large claws but sadly that is really its only defense against such a creater... and they are claws that are not going to deal any fatal damage.

The only chance the Iguana would have would be if it could get up a tree. Adult Komodo Dragons cannot climb trees (one of the reasons the babies hide in the trees after they are born is so the adults do not eat them). However, a Dragon is known to wait forever for something to die. The Iguana would have to wait for just the right moment to jump down and run like hell. Depending on the species of Iguana it might also be able to outswim the Dragon.

Oooo...this is a tough one...who would win, a 6 foot long, carnivorous komodo dragon with poisonous saliva, or a 2 foot long herbivorous iguana?

lol...a komodo dragon would munch its way through 30 iguanas in a matter of seconds...there wouldn't even be a fight.

Sorry, didn't mean to be sarcastic, but you really should do some research on that kind of thing first...

I would imagine the Komodo dragon would win......for a start they are much larger than any other lizard, they also have extremely nasty bacteria in their mouths, so when it bites it's prey gets infected with allsorts of nasties.

See links for much more info and you can make your own comparison.....
