Well yeah I guess I have been a bit daft, I just thought I would get a better offer which I havent! I'll speak to the agent and keep my fingers crossed!

Well contact the estate agent and tell him you are willing to reconsider the offer and just hope the interested party are still interested. We had an offer rejected once and then they changed their mind a week or so later but by then we had already put an offer on another- its a chance you take turning an offer down. Otherwise you may to have simply lower your asking price.

The offer isn't on the table any more. The only thing you can do is now make a new offer to them. The new offer may have the same terms as the old offer, but the buyers are not obligated to accept. If you had accepted the original offer the buyers would have been contractually obligated to buy your flat. Now they can renegotiate or flat out refuse. However, in one week it is unlikely they have found a new place. I think they will probably accept your offer. Good luck.

Of course you can get the agent to contact the people who made the offer, and let them know you will accept it, if they still want it.

Make a counter offer. If the buyer won't budge, then sell at the last best price.

And tell them that you answered quickly and thought that the offer wouldn't have been enough to cover the expenses associated with the sale.
