I'm not bothered about asking questions no. If people want to try and jump down my throat or ridicule me, I ignore them; water off a duck's back to me. As for spelling and grammar: yeah, too many people really care. Providing I can make out what the question is, that's enough, surely?

I'll ask any question that pops into my head, to me, it's interesting but we're all individuals and I'd be a bit worried if everyone agreed with me.

With very few exceptions, you are going to get a mixture of replies, some will be trying to give offence. It's hard to do with me, there's very little I consider important enough to take offence at but most people will be answering as fully and accurately as they can or want to.

Some like to post short, concise answers, it has been noticed that I don't. However, I do take pride that all my questions and answers are correct ... spelling, grammar and punctuation ... we have the finest language in the world. The most expressive language in the world, we should use it to its fullest.

no-one minds a daft question, as long as it's of genuine interest to the asker. People are pleased to show off their knowledge.
Yes I agree, people are picky about spelling etc. That's because if you misunderstand a question, because it was worded ingrammatically or spelled wrongly, you waste your time giving what will probably be the wrong answer. I do think askers have a duty to make themselves clear when they are asking a question. If they don't, they get useless answers, which just wastes everyone's time.

I will ask a question whether or not it may seem dumb to someone else, I think alot of questions are silly on here but I don't harass the people that ask them. I just don't answer. Also alot of mistakes are because people may be sloppy with their wording, doesn't mean they are ignorant. I was always picky about spelling but really that doesn't not matter what matters is people.

Yeah some people are very picky and it defeats the hole purpose of the site to find answers.

I always offer further email help on and question i answer, That way at least people dont have to be concern with what others say and can get a good answer from someone that wants to help.

You will always have people jump on your questions regardless of spelling and grammar so you might as well ask away and don't be shy.

Spelling and grammar can cause you bad remarks, but my general experience (based on several hundreds of asked questions) is good, although English is my second language. I do take care about spelling and use Check.

There will always be two sides to every coin but it's the people who answer with nothing but the intention of having a dig or score points thats just vindictive behaviour and no need it's not like they even know you...but my questions are mostly thought provoking, and i guess i attract the wrong attention too.
