GIRL !!! are you nuts? When I turned 40 The world better be glad I had to work. My office was so full of balloons and gifts, money in my pocket, diamonds on my finger. I was hot stuff!! No Really, I was hot stuff. My sex drive kicked in and my husband loved it. I could not help myself. I was hotter than nitroglycerin. I feel good, I look good and I have the passion of a 20 year old. I couldn't hardly wait until I turned 40. Look at all the people around you that have died. Look at the people that can't get around. I would go out for dinner alright. It's just I would be sharper than a tack. I would flirt with my husband and I would put it on him good, in a place we have never been before. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU AND MANY, MANY MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

happy birthday for the 5th, it has been said life begins at 40 and its your life (and birthday) do what you want to do and enjoy it, but if your family would like to do something for you why not let them but explain that you have plans for the 5th and let them arrange there thing for the 6th, I'm sure that they are only trying to let you know how special you are to them, there is nothing to be ashamed about turning 40 age is just a number its how young you feel that counts, so enjoy a nice meal with your husband and let your family spoil you I'm sure you deserve it.

40 is a great age to be these days....people used to say it was all downhill after 40 but I guess it really aint....I organised a big party for my 40th and so many people I knew came..it was great. My life has not gone downhill since then, rather it has taken off.....life begins at 40 so enjoy it and broadcast it...be proud to be 40. After all your birthday is just another day.
Best wishes, Mike.

thats a tough one. im sure your family mean well by wanting to celebrate this milestone with you. as they say life begins at forty. most of your family will no how old you are anyway. if your really worried tell them how you feel and if they must do a party have it in your house so you can control the numbers of people coming. but make sure they do all the work. good luck and happy birthday.

You just hit Premium time of your life. Say to your family you really would like to do something so can they organize something for the following Friday / Saturday night? THAT way you get double the fun. Your life will become so much better now you won't believe it.
