Assuming we are talking about Unidentified Flying Objects' and not cases of simple mistaken identity then...

Well, by definition they are unidentified so it's impossible to say 'what they are' which kind of prohibits answering the second part which is your question 'where do they come from'. Having said that I have two theories based on the 'most likely' realities...

First theory is they are nothing more than human technology kept out of the publics hands. As an ex-engineer who worked in the defence sector I'm aware that certain anti-gravitational technologies have been known about since they were discovered back in the 1920's - ever since then the miltary and governments have been working on these and perfecting them. Is it a coincidence that (a) we started seeing UFO's in the 1940's at a time so much effort was being put into military experimental weapons systems and (b) that most global UFO sightings are statistically near miltitary or sensitive governmental sites? I suspect not and that these platforms, if they exist and are being used, are most likely being used as intelligence gathering smothered in a cloak of 'extraterrestial' claptrap to keep it secret and away from what it really is. If you are looking for evidence of antigravitational technology just look it up on the web, it's my understanding that some very large aircraft manufacturers are openly talking about employing them to reduce weight in their latest planes - it's no 'made up' thing, it's real and it's out there but you need to look for it. An open secret if you like. This theory also tends to explain why the shape and type of craft have dramtically altered since they first started being seen in the 1940's - they have evolved in line with all other human discoveries / technologies.

Second more outlandish theory, but less so than little green men, is that it's us from the future. Question, if you saw a normal airliner 100 years ago what would you think? Point of question is we are already very close to understanding how to defy (move through) time. We know the theory from advanced physics but it's the doing it thats the hard bit. Assuming in a few decades this is possible then would you not come back in time to check out and learn from our own history? Here's an interesting point; if you did travel back in time then you would probably not risk being caught or interacting with humans of today because by doing so you would very likely alter what then takes place and possibly change the very future from which you just travelled. So, you'd want to avoid humans today at all costs - sound familiar?

Those are my best stabs at the reality of UFO's. Although it's a nice thought, I really doubt it's little green men. Yes, statistically there is probably life out there somewhere but in the great expanse of time what are the chances it's around at the same time as us and can actually locate us? Possible but less likely than either of the above theories.

In my experience, explanations of things we see around us are usually mundane rather than romantic - albeit travelling through time or defying gravity are not exactly mundane! Enjoy. :-)

UFP's are from the imaginations of Earthlings, basically. If all data can be gathered, UFO's become IFO's. Some are outright hoaxes of course. It is unwise to imagine that ET's have been flying around here since 1947 or earlier and doing silly things. The sheer distances in space are hard to overcome. No material object can travel at the speed of light. Next to our Sun or Sol, the nearest stars are the 3 in the Alpha Centauri system. Prxima Centauri is about 4 light years from us. The escape velocity of Earth is about 7 miles per second. A rocket traveling that fast would take over 106, 000 years to reach Earth from a planet orbiting that star. It is not likely that ET's will ever visit us in reality.

UFO simply means an object you can't identify it could be a astronomical phenomena or a new aircraft being tested or maybe a alien space ship unlike some I'm open minded about that possibility to believe we the only intelligent life in this vast universe is just a little arrogant don't you think?

The answer depends on clarity :)
What does UFO mean

If you were at a democratic convention it would mean
Unidentified Foolish Objects

If you were a older woman with a young man for a boy friend, aka KUTCHER and Demi MOORE,it would mean
Unbelievable Freakin Orgasms

so what do you mean by UFO? :) lol

They come from our imagination and our fear. If we knew that we are all alone in the whole universe, it would be depressive and scary. Nobody likes being alone. And so people came with the aliens and UFOs. And I'm sure that somewhere in space there really are aliens, because if the universe is endless, everything must be possible.

Ofcourse! flying saucers exists. flying saucers is any unidentified flying merchandise, would b a airplane or a fireplace balloon too. its no longer needed tht a flying saucers continually ability a spaceship despatched by utilising the extraterrestrial beings, they'd b meteors or asterids. many cases i hv seen such sort of issues interior the evening sky, that have been unknown to me and that i presumed it to b an spaceship. bt later i got here to recognize there have been the planes. even though it does no longer propose that there is no longer something like extraterrestrial beings interior the universe. Bcoz a month later i spotted something moving rapid interior the evening. it replaced into no longer a airplane in any respect, coz it replaced into at a plenty greater desirable top than a airplane can fly. i confirmed it to my dad too. he replaced into even at a loss for words abt it.?? It replaced into no longer a plne or a air-balloon. so there are various such incidents which exhibits tht there is something like UFOs.

UFO's are Unidentified Flying Objects. If they are unidentified, it means that the human kind has no knowledge of this technology. As such, we can conclude that they place where they are from must be "Unidentified".
