are there such things as ghosts???

Question

has anyone had any experience of ghosts?? i dont sleep that well atall so last night when i finally dropped off 2 hours later i woke up to banging a cupboard slammed in my bathroom and the taps were on but all house was asleep i woke my husband up to check the house but there was no one there, ive never had anything like this happen before, am on my own today with my child and am really freaking out over every noise!!!

Some people scoff at the idea however I have had the experience. I was working in an aged care facility working the pm shift. I was completing my rounds prior to knocking off when I saw some one sitting in one of the lounge chairs at first this was not unusual as some times the oldies use to sit up late.But on this occasion i actually saw through this person and noticed the different colored patch that was sewn onto the chair. I ran back to the nurses station informing the staff what I saw it appears I was not the only person who has seen this apparition. I was sober I was not imagining things

I suppose that is a matter of personal belief. I know I've had experiences with ghosts, so I believe. I'd say your experience is pretty compelling evidence as well. The thing to remember here, is that they cannot harm you, and most of the time don't want to. They may be angry, or confused, or scared, but usually it's because they don't know what's going on, or they cant get anyone to notice them without slamming things around. If you feel like you're going crazy, though, and you want proof, try doing your own ghost hunt. When nobody else is home, snap pictures around the house, and set out some audio recorders, or call in a paranormal investigation group to your house. Bottom line, you have to do what it takes to make you comfortable in your house. If you find out there is something there, and decide you cant live like that, have someone of your faith come help the spirit move on.

A Ghost is a Spirit which is a Soul the Etheric body that we use to Astral Travel so when we pass over that is what leaves the body.

It is understood as a sort of life force body or aura that constitutes the "blueprint" of the physical body, and which sustains the physical body.

Some people don't pass over because of unfinished business
Or they just don't know they have died
Or they didn't know to go to the light
This is what people call a Ghost
I call Spirit some call Lost Souls

Consider this - in the last 100 years have there been any deaths credited to ghosts?

Do you really think they'd cover it up? Why would they?

At the end of the day, if they do exist they're not killing people, so that's something to consider. Also, if this has never happened before, I'd be hesitant to be overly concerned until it happens again. It's possible it's somthing mundane - give it a chance and take your mind off it until your husband gets home and you're not alone with the kids again.

I don't know if you've ever read the Bible and I'm certainly not here to preach, but Ecclesiastes 9:5 says: "The dead are concious of nothing".

I therefore don't believe that ghosts exist but I do believe that there are evil spirits (demons) that can plague people. I would try and remember if you have bought, or been given something recently, especially from someone involved in the occult. If their is such an item, it is important to get rid of it immediately.

Not Ghost but spirits. The Quran talks about them. They live like us and have families like us. They normaly dont come in human contact. But some of them preffer to live with them. Dont be afraid ...just know that GOD did not make us the only humans . A different race existed before us. And they dont like to show themselves. Yeah slamming doors and dropin things, they enjoy scareing us. Go ask any good muslims , they might be able to help you out.

I've told many people that Christian scholars say dead men remain so until Judgement day. Atheists say there is no life after death. Both agree that ghosts are imaginary. I have twice seen things that seemed to be ghosts, but I looked closely and saw what they really were. My brother said he saw many ghosts. He took me to places he had seen ghosts the night before, and we saw nothing. If I visited you, any ghosts would be scared to appear, my brother said.

When i was 13 i thought i had a ghost in my room. I woke up and my cupboard was closed , i closed my eyes and i opened them again to that the cupboard was wide open...

Ghosts do exist. they are just souls that can't yet move onto the after life. Most of them can't accept that they are dead so they try and do anything they can to let someone see them..in your case ..scare you.

The only experience I have had with ghosts was during a period when I was ill, suffering extreme stress and mental trauma. I have researched thoroughly since and it appears most people who claim to see ghosts have been or are suffering from mental illness and hallucinate. i believe my experience was my mind making me imagine something that gave me a little comfort.
