I'm thinking of Big Brother and other 'reality' shows. Do the avid viewers really find them so much more interesting than viewers' own lives, and if so doesn't this trouble them?

unfortunately, they do find it more interesting AND it does not trouble them one bit. some people are addicted to the idiot-box. sadly, a huge percentage of our population are followers and just do what everyone else does. personally, i think reality t.v. is gay. a mind-sucking pariah to the soul of society. but then, i'm not a follower.
