My son will be 1 in a week and my period has been all over the place ince I stopped breast feeding him. I don't think I am pregnant. I hav been getting my period every two to three weeks and it is usually very light with hardly any clots at all. I just don't know what to think!

I got my period back when my son was 5 mos. old even though I was still breastfeeding. Let me tell you-it took a while for it to straighten itself out. Same deal with my sisters who've gotten their periods after pregnancy. If it continues to be a problem, call a NP at your ob/gyn to ease your mind.

I would recommend getting in touch with your dr to see what they think because of this breakthrough bleeding (bleeding that can act a lot like a menstrual period but isn't).
