The only difference seems to be in where you got the degree. The B.Com is more common in Canada and other places based upon the British system of education, and the BBA is granted more in the U.S. There may be some exceptions in both cases, however, and the two are viewed as being different forms of the same degree. Neither is preferable.

Give B.Com your first preference.
If you want to do MBA later prepare while doing B.Com .

both are basic degrees....
bcom is advisable if you are interested in finance, accounting, taxation..etc
bba is advisable if you are interested in marketing, human resourse..etc
if you are not sure of wat you want to go for i would suggest B.Com... with Bcom you can go for anything as a masters option..if you are in India they have these double majors where you can choose computer applications with BCom, making the base even wider...
