In year of 2003 june i left uae without visa cancellation. I am now in new passport having same deails as my old passport. My visa in uae expired in october 2003. Now i get a new job in abudhabi, my question is can i enter uae now? some people said that my status is now absconded and my old employer sent circular or something like that. Please advise me what to do to withdraw circular or cancel my visa.

Since you have not been cancelled your existing residence permit prior to your departure from UAE, so you cannot able go back on a new visa. The immigration dept will be rejected your new visa application. Your sponsor might be reported your status as "absconded employee". So you should get it cancelled PHYSICALLY, whether it is valid or not. I would suggest you to send your passport to your former sponsor/employer in Dubai through a reliable agent. They can cancel your residence permit on the same day. But may be (not sure because of your visa has expired almost 4 years back) the Labour Ministry will impose a ban valid for one year on entering UAE from the date of CANCELLATION. Meantime you can try your luck for applying for a visit visa once the cancellation formalities are over.
Try to contact your former company PRO in UAE for better advice and also to convince your employer.

A new passport doenst matter since you'll most likely have been fingerprinted when you took your earlier job or business in Dubai. Hence, if you arrive on a new visa and undergo fingerprinting, details of your previous visit and work will be accessible in a flash to immigration authorities there.
Explain your situation to the new employer and most likely, they'll be able to resolve the situation amicably with the earlier employer. In such a case, the earlier employer will issue a no objection certificate and drop absconding worker charges. A fine might however be charged.
If there are criminal charges against you for absconding...suggest you dont take the risks of returning there.

If you are not coming back to UAE why you need to cancel the visa purposly. You cannot cancel visa from the embassy. Before going on leave you cancel your visa from UAE itself. After cancellation you can stay in UAE for 30 days only.

what Zain mentioned above is correct and the best way. one of the cracks in this system is that once you get a new passport with a new number (of course), they will be unable to link this with your previous once and hence issue you a new visa. i'm not telling you to circumvent the law and this doesn't work all the time, specially with countries whose previous passport number is clearly mentioned in the new passport.

Hi good day,my visa was expired last Dec 2011 but the PRO who made my visa was not able to cancelled & he kept my passport for 4 months.He only returned it to me when i told him that im going to complaint in Phil. consualte within an hour he returned my passport without cancelling my visa..When i call my sponsor he told me that person done my visa & not him but i keep begging both of them to canclled me until this day.I went to immigration by myself if possible to canclled my visa but they r asking me where is my sponsor.My sponsor told me he is willing to canclled me but he is also had a problem in immigration for the reason that the PRO he trust made several visas under his name & 4 of them catch & deported already so he cant make it to cancelled me.Since i know his not able canaclled me i found a filipina lady told me that he know someone could help me but i keep on waiting & waiting she took almost 40thou dirhams from me for the payment of the said person but when i found out it is not true.i have all her signed paper the amount of money she received.Now my questioned is what will i do to canclled my visa if the sponsor was not able cancalled cause he need to clear himself first.Who is the right person could help me regarding this matter do i need a lawyer?? i had a constant communication with my sponsor regrading this matter & willing to help.I am hoping for your respond & someone can help me to clear myself cause i am not a criminal & i did not o anything wrong against the law i only wanted is to cancel my visa & work continouosly & legally.I am expecting for your immediate respond.Many tnx & have a nice day

but your new employer have to issue u a new visa & their might be a fine he'll pay
but no problem u can come easily
