Just a few hours ago, my best friend was on the phone, going on about his mountain bike. (He rarely talks about anything else.) He paused and said, "Am I boring you?" Like a good friend, I said, "No."

I told a sweet little lie to my husband.
I told him that I hadn't planned anything for this long weekend and I had planned a night away. I had to keep it from him for 4 days and even though he started to get suspicious on the way to the lodge, I still tell him.
But he loved it and thought that I was very romantic and thoughtfull.

I told my sister babies come in little seeds that mommies eat and then get pregnant magically... and I told her she came from Willy Wonka's Factory... which I told her also that also exists! She believed it all for 3 days, since she is very young (6 years old)... I feel so bad!

It wasnt really sweet but I told my mom my car was fixed and its not. I just didnt want to hear her b!tching about how I should get it fixed NOW!
