I've never personally known of a person that did but I often times wonder about the aftermath of those who knew a person who committed suicide.

Hi,

My uncle killed himself in early 2002. The sad thing is that his wife found him after he had shot himself and he was still alive. He didn't regret shooting himself and was glad he had done it. He died later that day.

He was battling depression ad diabetes and he was fed up with his life.

I cannot hate him for it. I think when people are so down that they come to the place where ending their life is the only choice they feel they have, I can't help but feel sympathy for them and wonder what was so bad and wonder if I could have done something to make their life better so that they didn't feel that this was their only choice.

Anyways, hope this helps.

I didn't hate them I felt really sorry and wondered if I could had said something to prevent it. The aftermath is always bad. We let the world convince us of how unimportant living is. Everyone has a purpose and everyone has value.

hıya,
ı knew a boy who was our neıghbour for years, he always felt lonely,i trıed to see hım as often as ı could we use to have a right laugh when we got together, years went by and ı got marrıed and moved away-ı didnt see him anymore i asked about him all the time, heard he moved, had an arguement with his parents(stepdad) and ended up into drugs. Went to prison for tryıng to steal a cash regıster....probably for drugs. Then heard that he had a nervous breakdown, went into a mental hospital.
Saw him once, he came over and said hı, but he seemed strange-i saw the laughs we had in his eyes but he wasnt the same, not long after i heard he killed himself...went under a train...İ miss him, ı dont hate hım..

Yes, a good friend of mine shot himself. You can't imagine the turmoil and heartache that suicide victims leave behind. It destroys families & friendships somtimes. It was a terrible time for his family and all of our group of friends. We all asked ouselves "why"? and why couldn't we help them, so there is a lot of guilt, too.It took me a long time to come to terms with my friends death.....it seemed so sensless and like such a waste of a really good human being.

my step father committed suicide. I have mixed feelings for him. I wish he would have talked to me, I could have talked him out of it. and I am mad at him for doing it.

yes. it was a very hard time for everyone. he jumped off a parking garage tier. his brother is now going to college where i live, and his parents are having a hard time still. people who commit suicide don't think about who they leave behind.
