If you people watch the game you will realize that the Lakers were losing by 20 point and you know why because Kobe was passing the ball but still his team couldn’t perform so Phil Jackson told to the control and take more shot, just like most of the time he tells him to do so on the 4th quarter.

I understand sometime Kobe can a ball hug but when you have no other choice n you’re a great score than you’ll do the same score, score n score n yes they beat the Raptors that was the greatest.

Nope not even close to be the greatest televised basketball event ever. How about Christian Laettner's shot to beat Kentucky, Reggie Millers clutch shooting against the New York Knicks, Sean Elliot's 3 pointer to beat the Blazers, and plenty of others that are better then kobe's ball hogging 81 points.

Until kobe decides to be a team player(which is not in this life time) he will never be consider a great player. jordan went through a same phase where he was scoring 60 + games but his team went 20 -62. Kobe needs to do some soul ssearching with the zen master and stop being such a pansy and cry all the time about what he isnt getting. shut up and play. there are people in this world would love to take his spot and play for less money. he plays basketball for a living. im sure we all want his job.

definite! the two way, its the excellent! If Wilt could have made some photographs from 25 feet out, then possibly it could have been as stable as Kobe's 80 one! yet to be a shield and score 80 one in the twelve months 2006, thats exceptional. If I advised people who any shield, even Kobe, could try this days earlier, they could have reported as me loopy and reported it grow to be imposable. i've got seen David Robinson do a stable activity at a severe scoring pastime yet he grow to be a large guy. MJ's highs have been in OT. Kobe in basic terms made January 22, 2006 between the main historic days in NBA historic previous, it would desire to additionally be the excellent 2nd out area of the playoffs.

Not even close. How could u consider that a good game. Thats exactly to be expected from a Kobe fan, it's all about scoring isn't it. Any close playoff game trumps that one hands down. I would be shady about wilt's too because ther is not a good record of the game.

hell no,,,did he win the championship,,,so so so many more performances by jordan in playoff and championship games surpass it,,,i still dont get it,,kobe is not that good,,i mean he is just an above average allstar,,,at this point i doubt he would even be a first ballot hall of famer,,those are done by people who understand the game of basketball,,and of course lebrons game against the pistons where he scored 29 of the last 30,,that was impressive,,i bet kobe was watchig it because he isnt in the playoffs anymore

Beating up on a scrub team with 81 points is not impressive and Wilt scoring a crap load on a bunch of pasty midgets is over-rated (though he is still better then Kobe).

Kobe is a great player, but Lebron is GREATER and may become the GREATEST.

No way, The best televised basketball event ever was Phoenix losing to Boston in Game 5 of the 1976 NBA Playoffs in a triple overtime. I was riveted to my seat - didn't even go get beer or pretzels.

NO!! They beat the Raptors. It is easy to score 81 when no one else on your team shoot. The Lebron game was better because it was in the playoffs and it basically decided the cavs future.(Cuz you know if they would have lost everybody would have thought the series was over)
