The only way is to be suspended. You can delete your 360 page and terminate the Yahoo! ID associated with it, but your YA profile will remain, unless you do something to get suspended. Even then, all your previous questions and answers will be accessible through the pages of who asked the questions you answered, and who answered the questions you asked. And through the "resolved questions" menu, and through the search feature.

And you can always open a new account, easily, anytime, so I don't think this is a good solution. Maybe you could move to a desert island, without a computer?? ;)

I dont think it would make quitting easier, people would just get withdrawl and make new accounts staying on hours at a time to use all their points per day... it would be a new world of addiction waiting to happen.

there is one way of deleting your profile.. but that takes three months! you have to terminate the yahoo id that's tagged with Y!A profile.. n after three months, your profile page will vanish!

I haven't thought about it, but would like it to be there as an option. However, I wonder if they would shut off email as well? n

ermm... Hey there!... why are you thinking of quitting.... ?? Don't leave us all alone without you! Sob.. sob...

I don't wish for one at the moment, coz if there isn't one, it gives you ample time to consider about quitting.
