Yes, I did have what you could call a Near Death Experience.
I was in a hospital and I lost a lot of blood...well I was dying.
(no need to go into details).
I was out like for 2 hours and they gave me nine blood transfusions, trying to save me. I did not feel anything. I did not feel any pain. I was just there and then I was looking at myself from above like my body was there, lying on the bed or stretcher (you know those very narrow beds like in ER).
Then I was floating away from my body, still looking at it and at one point, I realized I should have reached the ceiling...but there was no ceiling.
The highest I was, the smallest my body was.
I was just looking at myself lying there and I was from way above (I would say like two or three stories) but there was no ceiling and I could see all the nurses and doctors frantically doing stuff when I was so peaceful.
I wanted to fly away but at one point, I had to make a choice to go back or not.
Going back seemed harder than just flying away but I decided to go back because I was still needed there. I made the hard choice, the choice with the pain and the burden.
And here I am and sometimes, in my dreams, I'm up there flying above myself with no ceilings to stop my ascension.

Yeah, I was just laying in bed one day, thinking about death for some reason, and I had this creeeepy totally realistic feeling I was in a coffin, underground. I was not sleeping, and I totally "felt" it. I'm not claustrophobic, either, so it wasn't that that made it all creepy. I could just feel the coffin all around me. I totally felt like that was a near death experience- maybe not what you meant, but I'll never forget it...

i heard a mix between water running, and a bad reception tv channel, and everything went white, like snowy. also, that sound i heard at first felt like silence.
i died at the end of a dream when i was in a car taken up by a tornado. then i woke up after what felt like 2 seconds of the "death" experience

Yes, as a child I slipped into a fast flowing river. I hit the wall of the river and grabbed on to it and began to climb it when my dad pulled me out. It happened so fast. I don't remember how I felt, but probably was scared. n

Yes, I passed out from carbon monoxide poisoning when I was a teenager. I literally saw my life pass before my eyes. I thought I was dreaming and realized later what it was. Totally bizarre.

My bronchitis got so bad I couldn't breathe for a couple of minutes. I didn't see any light though. Not close enough?
