Really science and technology are one thing....you need the science to discover new technologies and you need the technology to continue science. But technology could be considered any instrument that helps the discover of new things where science is the name of that act.

science refers to a system of acquiring knowledge based on the scientific method, as well as to the organized body of knowledge gained through such research. Science as defined above is sometimes termed pure science to differentiate it from applied science, which is the application of scientific research to specific human needs.Technology is a broad concept that deals with a species' usage and knowledge of tools and crafts, and how it affects a species' ability to control and adapt to its environment.in other words science means acquiring knowledge(means in scientific aspects) and technology is the use of science to make the lives of human beings better.

Science is subject that investigates the physical world and tries to understand it better, whether this is mathematically based or physically tested in a laboratory.
Technology is the 'application' of scientific discoveries. i.e. Semi-conductor properties were discovered in a laboratory, technology then adapted the discovery to create applications for the semi-conductor, such as computers etc.
