I have this album and I love the song, but I gotta say, I never sat down and actually analyzed the words. I know the words and I sing along, but I just didn't put a connection to them. I've noticed that lots of people on this site, do analyze song lyrics. Why?

It seems to be just fictional (fantasy) I've never known the song to have any real-life connection to Al.
