Now that Bush has admitted that global warming is real, do you feel that he is too late with his turn around?
Do you feel that Bush is only making an opinion of this issue to better his "nice and supportive" image as one of his last attempts as president?

I agree Jezza. Maybe his voice on climate could just be a publicity stunt as he fades into the dark.
I'd hate to think he has something new up his sleeve.

climate change is the acceptable term now for politicians. They can be as vague as possible about weather change because no one knows for sure if the world is warming naturally or what. but everyone can tell the weather is crazy.
Bush is not one for environmental issues, have you ever heard him show concern for the environment before? Some political thing is afoot, some big business mate of his is thinking aboute climate change seriously. Or international pressure is forcing Bush to finally admit that U.S is one of the worlds biggest polluters.
Or could be he's nearing the end of his presidency so he's trying to leave a nice impression after all his mistakes. Dont think it will work though, he's insincere.

We can't do anything in the way of stopping global warming no mater what.
Climate warming will bring prosperity to regions that have not been so in a long time. The last warm period the Sahara was not desert and Egypt and Africa were extremely fertile. The warming period we are entering has more to do with a polar shift that is emanate than it does with CO2. You won't read much about this unless you search hard because it can't be politicized. Climate on a planet has little to do with the makeup of its atmosphere and more to do with the state of its magnetic field.

Bush probably wont do much to turn around the problem, honestly, and the world is going to do what it is no matter what we do to it, its a natural process, we just have to try to slow it, there is no way to reverse it at this point.
And yes, he is trying to get the public opinion of him up, and according to the news, other countries are worshipping him for doing so.

Global warming is not real, and this is just another failure of Bush like on the border and giving money to AIDS.
We must all stand AGAINST the Big Like of Global Warming and everyone should criticize Bush on his giving in.
Above all, we must not ever elect anyone who focuses upon this absurdity, because it's a dangerous distraction from our real enemies and it will jeopardize our national security.
I would like to see a Republican get in there who will tell people to shut their traps about global warming, including that nutcase liberal fat porker, Al Gore, who also needs to be institutionalized for his wild claims about inventing the Internet.
When is this going to stop?

I think its to please people yes. personally i wouldnt have.
Look how successful Kyoto was.. ( thats sarcasm of course )
the USA lowered their emissions regardless of not being involved in that while almost all the countries signing on to it didnt.
Doesnt matter if he believes it or he doesnt, doesnt matter if he agrees to play ball with the environmentalists. Most other countries arent doing anything constructive with it even though they keep holding it all over the head of the USA.
And the worst polluters no one is saying anything to.
