As long as we can maintain our dominance over robots, we shouldn't have a problem. I mean, if you understand the Three Laws of Robotics, and make sure every robot follows them unconditionally, I don't think we will ever have a problem. These are the three laws:
A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
A robot must obey orders given to it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Come on that will never happen. I mean people created the robots and come on how can a robot be possibly smarter? Have you been watching the terminator latly?

kinda depends on where you live. Soon some nations are going to be in a war facing robots representing the US. you can goole words like
DARPA
UAV
Talon robot
Predator drone
but if you're in the US, it won't happen in your lifetime.
