The things he is writing about don't help anyone find his daughter. It's just boring minutiae of his life - ".....had a bite to eat. Blah...blahh!!!" How can someone one focus on food when they have a missing child? I'd be too sick to eat! I understand the need to keep a diary and write down intense emotions, but shouldn't it be private until the issue is resolved?

Why am I a loser for asking a question, Piltdown? If no one asked a question on here, you wouldn't get any points, would you??

I agree, it's the last thing I would be thinking about, it's all in bad taste - he's pictured out jogging wearing an iPod, again the last thing I'd be thinking about. I think it's with a view to sell the story, whatever the outcome is he'll have a story to sell. They are either terminally stupid or being given the wrong advice from their PR team.

How can a blog written about himself and wifey have anything to do with finding Madeleine? Beats me.
Your right, it IS Boring. But i don't think that will stop the Mcann Fans from buying it. After all people bought that book by Coleen Mcloughlin didn't they? People can be very strange.

I shouldn't think so. From what I have read it would make a terrible book. There is no description involved and no emotion. The book would be tedious to say the least. I'd rather read a book on the history of cheese than the McCanns going for a jog and eating lunch with the two children they haven't managed to lose yet.

Of course he will. I bet he even has tentatively labelled it 'Pension Plan' until he thinks of a proper title, just to help remind him what the book is for.

But like someone has said would you want to read it??

Day 25 - Still Missing. I stubbed my toe on the end of the bed, and I bloody burnt the toast this morning. We've packed the twins off to the creche again so that Kate and I can relax as a family again on the beach. Apparently the money is still rolling in and may be able to upgrade our villa at the end of this month at this rate. Still cant believe we've managed to fool the public for so long (remember to scratch this at time of publication).

I am pretty sure he will be using it as a diary, so in the future he can use it as the basis for the book. I would say its a certainty. And people will buy it, wont they?

My personal opinion can be summed up in one word.

YES.

Mainly due to the fact that there will always be the likes of Pilt 'completely the pits' Down 'man' who will probably buy several copies just to show their allegiance and how much they care...

'....MUCH MUCH more than anybody else. Anywhere. Any place. Anyhow. Anyway. Any.....Honest....'

You read it didn't you? He didn't ask you to. And now we're discussing it aren't we? B'cos we choose to. Mission accomplished, by Gerry McCann...i choose to think he does it to keep Madeleine fresh in the memory of the public.
